I don’t think the Venezuelan government is too interested with the evil empire’s money being distributed to them in the form on World Bank and IMF loans and make the required policy changes that entails.Fa Canal wrote:so where is the UNHCR et al.? no meney left because they gave it all to the muslim war effort?

was thinking more that UNHCR set up camps in neighbouring countries like they do elsewhere to accommodate large population exodus.Miguelito wrote:I don’t think the Venezuelan government is too interested with the evil empire’s money being distributed to them in the form on World Bank and IMF loans and make the required policy changes that entails.Fa Canal wrote:so where is the UNHCR et al.? no meney left because they gave it all to the muslim war effort?

Had thought bucking for a large IMF bailout of usually the foreign banks paid for by u and i, was what it was all about but i dont really know the score as haven't been following this closely. had in the past relocated to trouble spots like this to take advantage of the opportunities available, but these days am more after a quiet peaceful life than chasing the buck with the associated uncertainties and risks

Probably a bit busy with their fundraisers to pay off all the child abuse victims around the globe.

The UNHCR are active in Venezuela and the surrounding countries. Just because you aren't aware of something doesn't mean it isn't happening:Fa Canal wrote:so where is the UNHCR et al.? no meney left because they gave it all to the muslim war effort?

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

It is what you think. Don't speak for everybody. You don't know anything more than anyone else. You simply read what is presented online and you pick and choose which viewpoints to agree with and the rest, to you, is obviously "lies". You sound a bit Trumpian there.Fa Canal wrote:me? no not at all everyone knows the real truth:McPhisto wrote:Because only you know "the real truth", right?

A new currency. Problem sorted! Why hasn't anyone thought of this miracle economic solution before? On Tuesday, President Nicolas Maduro introduced a new currency, dropping five zeros and devaluing the “sovereign bolivars” by 96 percent.
The people queuing up for hours upon hours for food in, say...Venezuela, should be happy about it...if you accept the advice from US Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders in this old clip. Food lines are a good thing, he believes.
Meanwhile, Maduro has closed the border with Brazil to block American-provided food and other humanitarian supplies from reaching Venezuelans. He may as well be running Jonestown, as he obviosuly prefers his people starve in isolation than get fed by pesky foreigners. What the locals now call "the Maduro diet".

But the food scarcity situation in Venezuela can't be all that bad because at least Maduro can scarf down food while taking phone calls from "his supporters" when he thinks the camera isn't on him.

These days Bernie is a social democrat not a socialist.McPhisto wrote:The people queuing up for hours upon hours for food in, say...Venezuela, should be happy about it...if you accept the advice from US Socialist Senator Bernie Sanders in this old clip. Food lines are a good thing, he believes.
