'At least 27 people killed' at a Texas church and multiple people injured
Re: 'At least 27 people killed' at a Texas church and multiple people injured
CNN reports that particular Baptist church vidoes their mass for their sick and bedridden congregation members to view at home. Will be a horrible video. Can only imagine some young children being among those in attendance.
They love their guns in Texas.

Youngest victim was just 5 years old.Edwardo wrote:CNN reports that particular Baptist church vidoes their mass for their sick and bedridden congregation members to view at home. Will be a horrible video. Can only imagine some young children being among those in attendance.

Cue usual rhetoric about gin laws, rabid defense by the gun nuts of the NRA, and nothing happening until the next massacre.

The gun has been identified as 26 year old Devin P Kelley, who lives in a nearby town. He was discharged from the Air Force a few years ago for bad behaviour.

Another example that the real threat to the US is homegrown. Ex serviceman with dishonourable discharge, in this case.

The real problem here is that all those good guys in the church weren't carrying guns.
How many times does this have to happen before they realize that they need more good guys with guns!

What will it take for Americans to come to their senses and actually take a stance on guns? It seems high crime and murder rates won't do it. Mass shootings in schools, churches, concerts, etc won't do it. The shooting of a Congresswoman didn't do it. Serious question, will anything affect a change?

Guns do not kill people. Americans with guns kill people.

It’s crocodile tears over and over again. Enough horrific events have happened to justify radical change but there is clearly no appetite.

TRUMP: ‘THIS ISN’T A GUNS SITUATION’
US President Donald Trump, currently in Japan, said the gunman was suffering from mental health problems. “Mental health is your problem here,” Mr Trump said during a news conference Monday in Tokyo with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe. “This isn’t a guns situation.”

It is estimated 12 BILLION rounds of ammunition are sold each year in the USA, big business so don't expect change in a hurry.
