A question for the lads
So, you have baby boy. There’s a big decision to make- to snip or not to snip.
I’m guessing most Americans were circumcised, and most Europeans & Brits were not (expect the Jews and Muslims).
What to do with the kid? I’m mixed- in one sense, it’s easier for him in his life and cleaner, on the other hand it’s not the most natural thing to do.
So, thoughts?

Are you talking about genital mutilation?
I urge you not too.
Just do some googling on the damage it causes (botched or not).
How is it "easier in his life"?
I think the boy should decide what to do with his own body, no?
I'm thankful I still have full function.

Easier for what? I haven't experienced any functional challenges, nor any difficulty keeping it clean.
My boy was born in November, didn't even enter my mind as something to do until I opened this thread.

Well I already admitted to not being an expert here. I did find this though:
Studies have shown that male circumcision "significantly reduces the risk of men contracting HIV through penile-vaginal sex," according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Circumcised penises harbor fewer bacteria than uncircumcised penises, which "could have a dramatic effect on the men's ability to fight off infections like HIV," according to Time.

OK. I'll bite. Went to Google. Population of men 2018, 3.8 billion. 33% estimated circumcised so math. At least 2.5 billion uncircumcised

Don't cut your kids dick dude. Circumcised or not, condoms protect against hiv and the like at a clip of around 99% don't they? Having a piece of your child's dick cut off as a secondary preventative measure against possible exposure to HIV 20 years down the line is ridiculous.

You guys seem to really like that little piece of skin. I had no idea what circumcision even was until I was about 20. You do hear about complications later on, that requires it. Perhaps it’s better to do on day 2 of life instead of later on?

Flawed logic.
Males can and do get testicular cancer.
So following your logic should you not castrate the little chap on day two of life to prevent testicular cancer?
