Strange Jobs in Cairns
When you start seeing jobs like this advertised you know that you've spent too long in Cambodia and no longer fit in.
I don't have a man bun, beard, tattoos or a history of violence - what hope?

Yeah, what's so weird about that job posting? That it is noted at a 'violent job' under the add?
What does a man bun or tattoos have to do with it? I don't get it.

The job requires someone who practices domestic violence in the title. I 'got it'.

Yah well I see what you are saying but it is not an unusual way of wording it really.
Carry on with your way.

A few weeks in stuck Cairns drinking Bundy with BKKtrapper is surely enough to turn anyone into a practitioner of violence.

I've not spent much time in Australian cities over the last 10 years, so I've lost touch with job adverts. I thought it was a strange wording. Surprising seeing Australia is the capital of political correctness.kansaicanuck wrote:Yeah, what's so weird about that job posting? That it is noted at a 'violent job' under the add?

Man buns and tattoos - well, you obviously aren't here. More tatts than hats, cats and rats combined. And that's not counting the men.
It was just my long-winded way of saying that I don't fit in here anymore.
Logos got it and did what I expected.
That job advert should have included something like'" an understanding of the Aborigianal customs and beliefs'' would have been clearer. That's who the clients will mostly be.

Went to view a property in Cairns about two weeks ago. Land agent/rep turned up and I did a double take. She had both arms and back of her hands covered in tatts, both lower legs and her neck inked up too.
WTF?

Yeah, like you're supposed to trust someone who has made such bad life-decisions? You should have called the police on her. If everyone just called the police every time someone with bad tattoos was in the area, eventually they's all be chased out of town or locked up.

Lucan, you can be a great poster, at other times you are a complete dick.
The latter this time.
Soon there will be no one left here.
