interesting development. spent a few winter months in karachi long back, was one of the few asian places where i could wander around without being constantly harassed by all and sundry ne'er-do-well characters.
may follow this development and check the current visa situation for long term stays.
oh and winters are mild there. good place to be out of cold europe. although it an islamic country karachi at least was/is very tolerant to other vibes at the time.
oh and i think you can actually marry the women without having to earn more than the prime minister

Well he had a good innings, 4 years not out until 2022 when he was ousted from power. He and his wife were sentenced to 14 years prison for selling off state gifts a couple days ago. That's his 4th conviction since 2022. His total sentence stands at 34 years.
No. They were banged up for an illegal marriage.
That's right, both received 7 yrs sentence.
One of the true Superstars of the game of cricket. I'm pretty certain he bowled many maiden overs throughout his career. All legal.
But the Umpire in this last case has pinged him for bowling his current maiden illegally.

There's something underhand going on here, but I'm sure he had everything inside the creaseNight Owl. wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 7:59 amOne of the true Superstars of the game of cricket. I'm pretty certain he bowled many maiden overs throughout his career. All legal.

You may think it's curtains for them but he could win the election while in prison.Night Owl. wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 3:29 amThat's right, both received 7 yrs sentence.
Who tf would be a politician in Pakistan?, you either get taken out by a suicide bomber at a rally, helicopter crash heading to a rally or jailed on trumped up charges and then assassinated shortly after release.
But it's not all bad,at least he's got 7 years to play with his middle wicket.fratricide wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 10:51 amThere's something underhand going on here, but I'm sure he had everything inside the creaseNight Owl. wrote: ↑Thu Feb 08, 2024 7:59 amOne of the true Superstars of the game of cricket. His whole life devoted to his country and he gets taken out by one of his own.
I wonder what India would have looked like now, if the Brits were still running things?

In the possibility Don Trumpet being imprisoned, and wins the election at the same time, could he legally run USA from the inside?
sorry, off topic.

He could pardon himself and go from the 'big house' to the Whitehouse
Well, I hear she had a fine leg when he removed the covers, but he was just silly, mid-off. Googly are reviewing it, a decision is pending weather it cross the boundary or not. I for 1 would love to see it up on the big screen.
