Brexit
Brexit has to be seen as a failure for EU ideological reasons.
Anyway, the ECB's quantitative easing programme ended yesterday, too early according to the IMF and BOA and even the Bruegel (sp?) institute in Brussels. Who is going to buy all that southern European debt now?
Time to run the fuck away, I'd say.

I just dislike the Euro because I want countries like Greece and Italy to have their own currencies so they can crash and I can have a cheaper vacation. Even Turkey is getting expensive as they more or less use the Euro all along the Turquoise Coast.RobW wrote:Brexit has to be seen as a failure for EU ideological reasons.

What has happened to the young of southern Europe is a crime.

They wont let the party end this quickly or abrubtly i reckon. With regards to monetary polucy Trump said we should all be concentrating on the market and not the numbers.Miguelito wrote:I just dislike the Euro because I want countries like Greece and Italy to have their own currencies so they can crash and I can have a cheaper vacation. Second referendum coming with or without a general election.
PM’s Brexit deal rejected by 230 votes
MPs voted by 432 votes to 202 to reject the deal, which sets out the terms of Britain's exit from the EU on 29 March.
Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has now tabled a vote of no confidence in the government, which could trigger a general election.
Mrs May said she would make time for a debate on the motion on Wednesday.
Mr Corbyn said the confidence vote would allow the Commons to "give its verdict on the sheer incompetence of this government".
I’d love to see Corbyn tackle Brexit.
Genuinely curious, in the same way of perhaps seeing Rainsy become PM. I mean I know both are complete sideline sniper muppets & there would be a 0.00000000..0000001% chance of it being remotely good. But what if eh? What if, all this time I’ve been the muppet?!

Corbyn is an inexperienced, ethics-obsessed ideologue, he has no idea of how to run anything practically.
May has no idea of how to run anything politically, she refuses to listen to anybody.
Johnson has no idea of how to run anything that requires background knowledge.
You're screwed, I'm afraid.
Ask Donald, he seems to be coping.

You have to respect Mr Corbyn's stance against Blair's war rhetoric at that time. I fear, though, that the Brotherhood-controlled factions of the so-called Labour Party will scupper his plans.

I fear you are wrong, Springrain. No scuppering going on. You swore and promised me there would not be another referendum.springrain wrote:You have to respect Mr Corbyn's stance against Blair's war rhetoric at that time.
