Hello, fellow seekers of truth.
I would like to ask you good fellows a question.
Does this lady have the right to express herself in this way?
Or is she subversive?
Is she pernicious?
What do you fine people think?
"Some people did something," she is seen saying, in between footage of planes hitting the Twin Towers and people fleeing the buildings.
I agree that 'Some people did something.'
Do you? Is anyone still stupid enough to believe that this atrocity was committed by 'non-believers'?
Oh, silly bunts.
In 'The Land of the Free' does this lady have a right to speak freely?

She has the right to say anything she wants and the Democrats are defending her. She has made highly anti-Semitic remarks and they have made one statement about everyone being against hate speech. She is still on the foreign relations committee. Her bosom buddy AOC still loves her too. This garbage shows the direction the left is heading in with no brakes in sight.

Questioning our Israel First policy? I didn't vote for MIGA.
What anti-Semitic comments has she made?
The "some people did something" quote was from a speech Ms Omar gave to a civil rights group, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (Cair), on 23 March.
In the 20-minute speech she discussed issues affecting the community like Islamophobia and the recent mosque attack in New Zealand.
The comments in Mr Trump's video were taken from a point she made about the treatment of US Muslims in the aftermath of the 11 September attacks:
"Here's the truth. For far too long we have lived with the discomfort of being a second-class citizen and, frankly, I'm tired of it, and every single Muslim in this country should be tired of it. Cair was founded after 9/11 because they recognized that some people did something and that all of us were starting to lose access to our civil liberties."
After the Washington Post fact-checked the statement to clarify Cair was actually founded in 1994, a spokesman for Ms Omar told the paper that she misspoke and meant to say the organisation's size had doubled after the attacks.
Effectively she saying that after 911 Cair doubled in size as a response to a large rise in Islamophobia. She is saying that because a small number of Muslims committed a terrible atrocity it does not follow that all Muslims are bad. She feels that all Muslims in the USA are in danger of losing their civil liberties and being adversely targeted because as she stated "some people did something" alluding to the terrorist activities of the few.
I think that the overall sense of her message was arguably correct, ie that there was an increase in Islamophobia post 911, causing difficulties for Muslim families. However it seems that some people are not listening to the message but want to quote a sentence out of context and re-interpret the way she alludes to "911" as being dismissive and in some way anti American. This perspective and the coverage it is getting seems to support Ms Omar's overall message that there is growing anti Islamic sentiment.

Well, the one good thing to come out of this is that more and more people are being exposed to the lovely and very funny Iman Mohamad Tawhidi, the Australian Shia REFORMIST (Who the Washington Post fact check quoted)
Hopefully he can get some media exposure re the extremist Melbourne (Muslim) immigration lawyer who wanted ISIS to kidnap him & chop his head off for giving evidence in parliament.
Here's one of his gems re Omar
"The headscarf is part of my religious beliefs only when I’m running for Congress, and when I get elected after playing the race, minority, islamophobia card, I will change the US law on head coverings within the Congress to accommodate my beliefs which I don’t really believe in."
This is my favourite tweet and I've been wanting to post it for awhile...
"New Zealand women showing solidarity with the victims of the massacre, or with ISIS? This is an ISIS symbol. It means there is only one God and every other God else is false, thus should be fought. Do they believe in Allah? This foolishness is getting out of control."

Obviously there are some "good" muslims.
But. Where are they hiding and why aren't they speaking up eqch time an atrocity is being committed in islam's name ?
As far as I know the auckland klillings have been denounced by all western leaders (except probably by trump who encouraged them in the first place). Why are arab leaders silent each time there's a bombing killing innocents in western countries ?

This has never been about hate against Muslims. It is about a clearly anti-Semitic/pro Palestine who believes that over 3000 Americans were killed, many more injured and left scarred by Jihadists was just "Something someone did". If you have read any of my posts it is easy to see I am not an Islamaphobe. I believe in free speech by anyone of any religion but this garbage goes too far. It is also one thing when a private individual says things and quite another when a public official currently on the foreign affairs committee does. She should be, at a minimum, pulled from this committee, and probably censured. She has not had this happen because the new left is trying to prove how far left they can go, ala AOC.

^^ Love the pic, Harold
Re Omar, I think the anti-semitic charge comes from her fundraising for CAIR (a designated terrorist organization) which has a long history of affiliation with Hamas and Hezbollah. CAIR was also a co-conspirator in the largest terrorist financing case in US history, which went un-indicted.

That was one of the things she has said. I will attach a link. Basically she says anything she thinks she can get away with. So far the Dem's are staying behind her even though they would call any Republican out for saying things like that about anyone, including Jews. It is called a double standard. They are very good at that. Look at what they are saying about Democrats past actions and facing other charges in Virginia. You can google that.Hot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote: ↑Mon Apr 15, 2019 9:16 pm^^ Love the pic, Harold
