Whatever the newspaper that those quotes were reported in, the fact is that that is what he said. (One is making the assumption here that the Daily Telegraph is a reliable source of quotes,)
I believe that it is.
So, do you still feel secure in Britain entrusting its sovereignty & decision-making mechanisms to that lying piece of so-&-so? Heath lied; Blair lied. When is the lying going to stop?
But, no, you still think that it is a simple 'us or them' (the-here-is-where-we-stand-despite-evidence-brigade) mechanism.
If you don't trust the quotes, why don't you check them out for yourself?

Who here thinks this Johnson Brexit fiasco is all about trying to make proroguing parliament to get one's own way come under greater legal definitions, so that a Corbyn government can't do it to abolish private education etc? I do hope the judges are not all privately educated. I wait with anticipation on the ruling, but especially on the remedy.

Of course it's us and them. See my above post.
All I'm asking is you put a coherent example together for us all to peruse and debate re the EU. As Miller, who has been intimately involved in active cases over many years, thinks it's the UK Tory governments that we need to be afraid of with The EU mitigating a lot of the bad British policies that only benefit a minority.
I can think of quite a few examples of specific cases where governments have lied to their people and anyone else who will believe them: Iran/Contra, CIA/ Golden Triangle, First Iraq war, Noreaga guns for coke scandal. All of which are well documented with documents mostly in the public domain now. All proven cases where a few have lied to manipulate the many so as to mold the world in the shape of their own choosing..
Do I believe US claims that Iran is behind the Saudi refinery attacks? No, not really. And with good reason.

Labour set to give all foreign nationals living in UK right to vote for first time

With around 3 million of them, that should swing it.

This from the BBC
A ruling on the legality of Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament will be announced by the Supreme Court on Tuesday at 10:30 BST.

The Supreme Court has unanimously ruled that prorogation was unlawful, and that the advice he gave the queen was illegal.
This eviscerates the nonsense that he and all his ministers have been saying about prorogation for weeks.
It’s a huge humiliation for the Government.

The supreme court has delivered a damming and unanimous verdict. Boris Johnson has broken the law for undermining the basic principles of democracy. The prime minister has shown himself to be no better than a tin-pot dictator, shutting down democracy to avoid scrutiny.
There is no question, the prime minister must resign immediately and a crash out Brexit stopped once and for all.
In his short time in office Boris Johnson has proven himself to be a deeply dangerous and anti-democratic leader, with no respect for the rule of law. It would be a complete affront to civilised society if the prime minister did not resign after this historic ruling.
Whoever could they be referring to.
If he does resign, wait for it, he will the shortest serving prime minister there has ever been.

As I said before, he's desperate for an election. I wouldn't at all be surprised if he doesn't gain another 2 point lead in this week's Gov poll.
He won't resign. He may however call for a vote of no confidence in himself if the polls allow; thereby, achieving his aim of a general election .
I doubt the Cummings' team and whoever's behind it, have not got a plan in this scenario of being found unlawful. They may even have engineered it as part of a larger plan.

What are his options? Serious question as I am not to versed in UK politics. After he shafted 20+ party members, he does not have a parliamentary majority.

I predict that the first thing the Commons will do is to draft a carefully worded bill to stop another prorougation attempt.
