Donald doing the limbo dance again, how low can you go?
Asking the Ukrainian govt to dig up dirt on Biden's son.
That schmuck Giuliani getting his head up Donald's arse in the process
I didn't think Donald is any worse wrt tactics than any previous US president, he's just more openly obnoxious about it, and tbh, I think he does it deliberately, maybe he's hoping Hillary will have an aneurysm, that wouldn't be a bad thing, would it?

So an impeachment hearing has been initiated. But what does it really mean for the USA? It mght go through the house of reps, but won't through the senate - and Trump will continue to be POTUS and contest the next election anyway.
Will it have an effect on voters in the USA??

It should dissuade some would-be Biden voters when his son's dodgy business dealings with foreign governments using daddy's name as leverage are exposed (especially the $1.5 billion "investment" from the CCP) and hand the Democratic nomination solidly to Elizabeth Warren aka Pocahontas, the serial lying hoax artist who pretended to be a minority all her life to get preferential treatment via affirmative action until her ill-conceived public blood test exposed her.chubacca wrote: ↑Wed Sep 25, 2019 6:18 amSo an impeachment hearing has been initiated. It's hard to know how this will play out. But I can't see any upside for Trump, particularly as he has effectively admitted it and the Ukrainians are on the record as saying there was nothing improper about the Bidens' activities.
The timing is interesting. Impeachment proceedings take time. It's notable that the Clinton impeachment hearing was announced in exactly the same week, and went through right until early the following year. If this process follows the same timeline, then Pelosi has timed it so that the worst of it falls smack bang in the middle of primary season.
Interesting also to see how limp the responses from GOP hierarchy has been - the fight seems to have drained from McCarthy and McConnell. Their statements were like boiled lettuce. I am increasingly convinced they have finally decided Trump is an electoral liability in 2020 and could hang him out to dry, but they don't want to do it too early. I'm guessing Trump is persuaded to stand down and not seek reelection, around February next year. Of course, then his legal jeapordy begins. He will avoid the ignomy of impeachment, and walk straight into likely pending criminal charges.
And, remember, Presidents under impeachment are precluded from handing out pardons to anyone, including themselves and family members.

So, have I got this right?
The Democrats want to impeach a president for trying to expose a crime, and then elect the person who did the crime.

Nope. Firstly the Ukrainians have said there is nothing for the Bidens to answer for.
Secondly, Trump and Giuliani have openly admitted asking Ukraine to investigate a political opponent likely to be his opponent in 2020.
It quite literally doesn’t get any more clear than that. What’s telling though is that neither thinks they have done wrong, which goes to show how out of their depth they are.

Being POTUS is just another transaction for this grifter. Dick Nixon was pardoned prior to an impeachment vote by Gerald Ford though he had yet to be charged with any offense. Trump gifts POTUS to Mike Pence who then pardons the whole Trump clan for any and all federal transgressions.
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis
As usual, you have no idea what you are talking about.kungfufighter wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 8:39 pmI read the whistleblower's documents. Looks like Trump's f*****d.

Clearly you haven't read the primary source - the transcript.Dallow Spicer wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 8:19 pmHot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote: ↑Fri Sep 27, 2019 5:42 pmSo, have I got this right?
