Beirut is Hezbollah’s headquarter and ammonium nitrate is their favorite weapon of choice.
There have been several raids targeting the Hezbollah. Police found 3 tons of ammonium nitrate in London when MI5 and the Metropolitan Police targeted them. https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/0 ... orth-west/
In Germany where they are considered terrorists they also found large amounts of ammonium nitrate. https://www.voanews.com/extremism-watch ... bollah-ban
Since 2014 there have been 2,750 tons, in a warehouse, of one of the most important ingredient for terrorist bombs. You only need to add diesel to make it detonate, and it was allowed to be stored despite protests.
It seems to me like this warehouse was the supply for various Hezbollah operations and “somebody” finally had enough and targeted the source, because it has been public for a long time that this exists in Beirut which is controlled by the Hezbollah.
Huge explosion in Beirut
Hey "Facepalm", operative words in Wikishiddia are 'series of chain reactions'.
Have a look at war bombing footage.

Yes, suspicious.
However, isn't it easy to pick up 100kg anywhere? Ten cash purchases by 5 men over a week and you have a good bang. Ten times that over ten weeks and you have enthusiasm. It isn't compact. wouldn't purchasing be almost as easy as cross border shipping?

I feel the role of the wheat in this has been underestimated.

Karma?
https://m.jpost.com/middle-east/nasrall ... ast-637582Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah threatened in the past to destroy Israel by causing a massive explosion in the port of Haifa using ammonia tanks that he said would be like a “nuclear” explosion. In addition Hezbollah allegedly sought to acquire ammonium nitrate via Syria since 2009 and tried to infiltrate the agriculture ministry in Lebanon to do so, according to leaked diplomatic cables.
Seems it was just a tragic case of poor safety management, corruption and incompetence.

MIG welding requires an oxygen supply around the arc.kinard wrote: ↑Wed Aug 05, 2020 5:47 pmIndeed.
''Ammonium nitrate does not burn on its own.
Instead, it acts as a source of oxygen that can accelerate the combustion (burning) of other materials.
For combustion to occur, oxygen must be present. Ammonium nitrate prills(pellets) provide a much more concentrated supply of oxygen than the air around us''
So the fertiliser boosted the explosiveness of the firework combustion.
I find it hard to believe that the muzzies would put fertilizer next to fireworks. They have to be the go to experts on blowing things up with whatever is at hand at the time, on the cheap surely?
When I was a small child I once watched someone make an explosive out of dog shit and sherbert in a sherbert dip tube. Watched the cap blow off the sherbert tube. I think it was at a Pontins somewhere iirc.
At the time, I thought that guy was the coolest dude in the world.
Still do probably.
Sniff.
Has anyone mentioned....erm......Mosad perhaps? You know....shadowy forces at work...behind the scenes.

Jeez, what the hell are you on about now? Lebanon is made up of lots of different groups - you have Christian Phalanges, Druze, Maronites, Orthodox Christians, Sunni and Shia groups co-existing and sometimes fighting for centuries and you want to rant about "muzzies"? Have a bit of tact man.

What about Mossad explosive experts posing as welders?
Anyway, tonight my God is Aldi €3.99 Baron Saint Jean (Spanish i believe), and now topping up with G&T's.

“The entire regime needs to change. It will make no difference if there is a new government,” Joe Haddad, an engineer, told Reuters. “We need quick elections.”
