I have just binged the two seasons of Kin that are available. First season was good. Second season was bloody excellent.
Irish drugland setting.
The patriarch is the biggest bloody a’hole
If you are in Australia it’s on SBS On Demand

Hello Bongs (and Bongettes),
Baby Reindeer on Netlix, is one of the best things I've seen in awhile.
One free cup of tea given and his life is changed for the worst.

The "hero " is such a pathetic loser, someone needs to bitch slap him furiously
He sounds like a few Cambo expats actually

It's anti hero. No "hero's". It's different from the usual hero dross that you feel like you've seen before thousands of times over and your mind wanders to other things.
Duh.
When he has the meltdown on Episode 6 it is up there with some of the best moments from any series. IMHO.

Series 2 is out now. I lost my Saturday night to it as I could not stick to “just one more/last one” because the cliff hangers had me wanting (needing) to see what happened next.violet wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 1:30 pmThe writing was good.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Sat Jun 03, 2023 8:06 amIt’s excellent. Didn’t know it would appeal so much to the international audience.
I knew one of the writers when we were kids. Hadn’t heard from him in years and suddenly his name was all over the news when the show was aired.
Good acting too.
I have really enjoyed it. Up the with Line of Duty, Happy Valley (better than), and Bodyguard.
Very enjoyable
