His face was flushed. His eyes bloodshot and his clothes dishevelled.
I noticed that the crotch area of his trousers was wet and stained.

Ok, so the guy drove home drunk and foolishly tried to get away from the cops and got caught.
He appears to have skipped the USA on the DUI and related driving charges (all one incident); this hardly puts him in the league of Al Capone, (as the title of the thread and many of the posts here would suggest).
While I agree that he is probably a fraud as to being a Psychologist, this thread is a bit of a beat up if that is all he is charged with.
Face it, quite a few others in Cambodia can't go back home for similar minor offences and more than a few hold themselves out to be qualified where they are not.
cheers,
LaudJohn
PS: Ken does however appear to be trailer trash (the report says he said he indicated he was living in a trailer park).

Note to self: Must be nice to morons.
It's not all that he's done, but it's all we need to get him the hell out of here. The stuff he's done here is far far worse, but proving it would take a lot of time, hassle and money - why go to all that effort when he's already a wanted criminal and we can just get him locked up for crimes already committed and proven?LaudJohn wrote:While I agree that he is probably a fraud as to being a Psychologist, this thread is a bit of a beat up if that is all he is charged with.
I posted screenshots of him flirting online with a 15 year old male student. Short of actually bursting into his place and photographing him with young boys, what evidence do you need that the guy is a scum bag?

Well LJ, remember that he skipped out on not just the DUI charge and the fleeing and eluding charge, but he was also up for a probation violation from the first DUI sentence, and he was also set to be tried for felony theft (details still unknown).
Also, my take is that he did not live in the trailer park; he lied about living in the nearby trailer park in an effort to convince the cop to let him go. ("Officer, I'm practically home, I live, uh, right there.").

ok. I have one question, simply 'cos I like a balance.
Who knows for a fact anyone Ken has harmed as a result of Psych counselling sessions?
Who knows for a fact anyone Ken has helped as a result of Psych counselling sessions?
Fact, not someone told me that someone said xyz.
I know for a fact, that he has helped 4 people. I don't know, factually or otherwise, of anyone he has harmed.
As for the past in the States, I don't much care, just as I wouldn't much care re. anyone else I met in Cambodia.
There are other things to be considered. I've read and absorbed them. I am just wondering about whether he's done good (who was it who mentioned Minko had achieved something while assuming I'd achieved nothing of relevance in Cambodia? ... Hanky. That's right. Hanky seemed to think the positive outweighed the negative with Minko... let's apply the same "logic" to Ken)

HaHa, that's spot on!!! I couldn't tell u how many times it's kept me from getting a DUI/drunk in public, etc, because I said 'I don't drink! Give me a breathalyzer,' and they just assume u're telling the truth... Most drunk idiots tell a half lie, but would be better off telling a BIG lie.....gavinmac wrote:
Now we can forgive him for telling the cop he had "two beers," because EVERY drunk driver says that he has had "two beers."
I'm surprised u haven't done that either! That should be yur next project!! JK! Based on that, yes, he is scum!Bubble T wrote:

I have to correct myself. LaudJohn was right. Wilcox was, in fact, living in the trailer park. It raises the question though "Who drives a gold Mercedes and lives in a trailer park?"
Also, oddly, it appears that he told Sergeant Glass he was born in New Hampshire, when the booking data says was born in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Well, if you check out the details closely, you can see that the Benz was almost 10 years old at the time of the incident.
Still, the fact that he was living in a trailer park is funny as hell to anyone who's heard him tell his stories of his rich life and family of Gillette owners (he claims they own the company - doesn't even sound like they could afford the shaving gel).

Judging by the white wall tyres, one of his neighbours seems to have a classic car under that cover. Maybe Florida has gated community trailer parks.gavinmac wrote:I have to correct myself. Wilcox was driving a '97 Mercedes E320 sedan. They were worth about $40K new, so it would have been worth about $12K in 2004. That's probably around the same price as a Hyundai, but it sounds a lot better saying that you've got a Merc.
