Dear Galaxy tab 10.1 users, some body can tell me where is the Samsung shop in Phnom Penh. I got my Galaxy tah in France since 3 weeks ago, I'm coming to PP for 3 months. I would like to know if Samsung in Cambodia can fax my problem. ( Symptom: Noway to power on.)
Thank you for your help.
Clément

They have it at the phone shops near Central Market for about $640 for the 10.1 bit I don't know if they do repairs at these places.
Thank you Rob. Good to know, for my problem luckily I sharke my Galaxy tab then it restarted again. Wonderful ...
Anyway I recommand the Galaxy tab 10.1 against Ipad2, it is much better, don't need a PC or Mac to exchange the files. ...

I am in City Mall today, Samsung has a temporary store outside BB World, and is offering all sort of Samung Phone, and Galaxy Tab.
They have Galaxy Tab 10.1 for $605. Or if you happen to be in promotion hour, $595, which is a bargain.
Too bad I don't have money with me. however, they have the Galaxy Tab (7") for $440, which is expesnive, as I saw Sony store in Sorya listed for $369 (no longer there).
If anyone see or know about where Samsung do its promotions again, can you share it here?

I'd be pretty peeved if I had something for only 3 weeks and cost over $600 for it not to work, not to even power on, and then to rectify the problem you shook it?!?! I've had my iPad2 for only 4 months and managed to drop it onto a tiled floor from a height and the only problem is a slight dent in the corner.
I know it may not be perfect but surely it's better than something which you have to shake to fix?!
I saw the tab at Hakse phone shop on Sihanouk for 610USD, however there is no USB adaptor sold with it (not in the pack, not sold separately) - which is a no-go for me. Has anyone seen the adaptor anywhere?
Moreover, is anyone aware of an official Samsung showroom/outlet in PP? (according to the yellow pages there's a service centre on Monivong but not sure they actually sell the products, I have not checked it out yet...)

Do you mean the charger cables, that plug into USB port to charge the tab/data sync,MrMustard wrote:I saw the tab at Hakse phone shop on Sihanouk for 610USD, however there is no USB adaptor sold with it (not in the pack, not sold separately) - which is a no-go for me. if not, what usb adaptor are you after?
I am after the Samsung -> USB female adaptor (e.g. to plug a USB stick to the tablet)
Though I wonder if the default cable (Samsung -> USB male) + a standard male->female USB adaptor would to the trick...

The male/male doesn't go so well.
like the ipad, I don't think you are meant to be able to plug a USB Drive/Debice to the Tab. but would be a nice thing to have.
"Male->Female adaptor" = Female-Female deviceSamsung <> USB Male <> USB Male <> USB Female.

It does exist and Samsung actually communicates on this as a differentiator - which is a great thing http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy ... 1PL0BEGSTAlike the ipad, I don't think you are meant to be able to plug a USB Drive/Debice to the Tab. but would be a nice thing to have.
They also have the SD adaptor which is great for photo http://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/galaxy ... 1PLRBEGSTA
However they do not seem available anywhere in PP, I guess I'll have to order!
