What was the first record you ever bought?

Believe it or not, there is a whole other world outside of Cambodia, be it people or politics, frustrations or football, this is the place to talk about it.

Mine was Nirvana - Nevermind, closely followed by rage against the machines debut album.

Once a year we are allowed to listen Pass the Duchy and smile from nostolgia.

The same goes for "I can't wait" by Nu shooz and Shannon's "Let the Music Play", if and only if you spent countless hours of childhood zipping around a roller rink to these tunes.

I guess I am getting old, shit pop in the 80's just seems so much better than todays shit pop.

At least that sounds true, some of the other poster's choices seem a bit suspect to me, like people are trying to rewrite their history to appear cool. :-D :axe:

I think it was either the wombles or puss in boots or Cinderella . I loved those story records :).

Of the music variety, I'm pretty sure it was a compilation of hits in NZ. Followed by an ABBA album and a Straycats album. OHHHH. and Hot Chocolate - I believe in Miracles (except I sang... I believe in Milkos; having no idea what Milkos were )
I'm outdoorsy in that I like getting drunk on patios.

Either "Green Door" by Shakin Stevens or maybe "Four" Hewy Lewis and The News. In my defence I was very young. Actually it could have been the England and Scotland world cup songs from the 82 world cup?

Really?

I changed my mind, it was "The Frenz Experiment" by the mighty Fall or "Hand in Glove" by The Smiths.
