Anchor not being produced??

This is a free speech zone where you can discuss and debate everything Cambodia related whether you're a dyed in the wool leftist, a liberal or somewhere to right of Attila the Hun. This is also where you get to read the news the local media suppresses.

Anchor not being produced??

Rumour from the corner shop.

No more Anchor to be had - they've stopped making it.

It makes sense. For it to happen in Cambodia, I mean. I thought LPB was involved in this, however distantly?

Anchor not being produced??

Postby rob77 » Thu Mar 08, 2012 2:45 pm

I bought some last night. And the night before. And at a restaurant for lunch. Still got some in the fridge.

Normally when a trader or local shop moves their lips they are lying to get you to buy whatever they can make the most profit on.

Or they don't know about just in time stock management or any kind of management generally...

Seems Lucky might be out of stock on a few items in the next few days. They have changed ownership (now called DFI Lucky) and for some weird reasons have postponed they purchase orders. They claim they need to "watch" the stock for the new owners ??

Right, that's it between Lucky Supermarket and myself: I've been getting more and more perplexed with them for months and not long ago I went there with 10 items on my shopping list, none especially exotic, and came home with 3 things in my bag that the useless bastards had actually bothered ordering and putting on their shelves. So fuck them. And may God smite me if I ever again step over their threshold. From now on it'll be veggies and fruit from the market and a weekly trek across town to Thai Huot for everything else.
