Just went to Acleda and my card wouldn't work for whatever reason. Went to ANZ and it was a $5 fee and they lowered the amount to $500 for a single withdraw. Pricks.
Anyone know of any cheaper ones that still have a $1000.00+ limit?
Thanks

Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?Foreign card or local card?
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?no fees at Canadia..
$600 limit per transaction at ATM though over the counter they'll let you do more...bring some ID He's been in his room 35 years...time to let him out!
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?I've been getting up to $800 at Canadia with no fees.
Screw ANZ. They used to let you get $800 with a $4 fee. Thieves and robbers. They should do well in Cambodia.
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?As far as I know Cambodia Public Bank has $1000/day limit, NO fees.
I'm trying to remember the last time I had that much money to withdraw though... People who steal from banks get jail. Banks who steal from people get bonuses. You gotta love capitalism!
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?Even if you have an Australian ANZ ATM card, you still get slugged $5.Yes,not long ago it was "ONLY" $4/transaction.
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
I was so relieved to find Canadia. I know $5 isn't a lot of money but I hate giving it to banks for absolutely nothing, when nothing for nothing seems fair!
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
I am restricted to $200. I know it's not card related as I can get $500 out at UCB ($4 fee) so how are you guys able to get more?
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
no idea but that does sound weird...when i enquired with the staff about the ATM limit they said $600 thought it may have even been $800...can't remember for sure now...as it was i went upstairs and got $1400 on visa with just drivers licence for ID... He's been in his room 35 years...time to let him out!
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
I don't understand that either, I can get more than that from Canadia with their ATM card or a foreign debit card, not that I often have occasion to.
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?Don't just look at the ATM fees, heinous as they are.

Foreign card, sorry should have stated that. Thanks for all the info guys.
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
Canadia the only one with no fees AFAIK.
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
My card is from an Aust credit union and as far as I understand the card's daily limit is $800. I have withdrawn that amount pretty much every month and have had no problems or fees with Canadia.
Re: ATM's with cheaper fee's?
Good point, even if Canadia aren't charging you there are probably fees from the other side. They had notices at Canadia machines a year or so back saying there was a charge of $3 or so for foreign cards, it doesn't make much sense for them to do it for free.
