I didn't think a drink's going to kill you.

Believe it or not, there is a whole other world outside of Cambodia, be it people or politics, frustrations or football, this is the place to talk about it.

I didn't think a drink's going to kill you.

An Invercargill man who claims his partner died because she drank too much Coca-Cola says she consumed up to eight litres a day.

Natasha Marie Harris, 30, died suddenly more than two years ago.

At a coroner's inquest into her death on Thursday, her partner Christopher Hodgkinson said Ms Harris was unwell before her death but he never thought the soft drink could be to blame, the Southland Times reported.

"I didn't ever think about the Coke. I never considered it would do any harm to a person. It's a soft drink ... I didn't think a drink's going to kill you," he said.

He estimated she drank between 4.5 and eight litres a day for seven or eight years before she died.

Last year the Southland Times reported Ms Harris's autopsy showed she had a diseased liver but the cause of death was undetermined.

Mr Hodgkinson said he had been informed his partner, and the mother of their eight children, had a heart aneurysm caused by too much Coca-Cola.
Coca-Cola Amatil New Zealand managing director George Adams said at the time that Mr Hodgkinson's claims were "patently untrue".

Some men you just can't reach. So you get what we had here last week, which is the way he wants it... well, he gets it. I don't like it any more than you men.

No wonder the FBI are trying to break the US-Colombia coke link.

ps: beer would have been a better choice.

Thank god she wasn't driving when she suddenly died. She could have killed someone.

You'd probably die from drinking that much water every day in a temperate climate.

Let's average her at 6 liters each day.
And she did this for 8 years.
So... 2,922 days comes out to 17,532 liters
At 108 grams of sugar per liter that adds up to 1,893,456 grams or 1,893 kilos
OMG, near enough two tons of sugar????

I wonder what she weighed?
Six liters of coke = 2,400 calories, or more calories than a woman needs each day.

(I bet she avoided MSG because she heard it was bad for her)

Yup, the msg will do it every time.

As any hedonist will tell you, it's teh small things that get you, not the gross excess.
