Ok, the place has been open for x months/years already - does anyone know who the owner is? I'd love to have a good chin-wag about the absolutely appalling service that kills what would otherwise be a superb venue. I'm always happy to give new staff a break, understanding that they're learning the ropes, but this place is consistently dreadful and now there is no excuse. From sitting down to having my order taken took 20 minutes, it then took a further 30 minutes for three very simple drinks to be brought. I've experienced the same when ordering even just a beer from the bar. The place has six or more people behind the bar, and we're not even talking about it being busy - there must have been 20-30 patrons last night when I was there. Getting the bill was equally painful, the past three times I've been there I have just wanted to walk out without paying - I'd almost suggest that people should, the bar staff wouldn't notice and you'd have a great night out drinking and enjoying the view for free!
Compare this to Metro or say even the Gym Bar - you don't have to shout across the bar to get served, the staff are well trained and ready. I remember the Gym Bar particularly during the World Cup, England v Germany - three girls in the bar ensured that every customer had a beer at all times and there had to be 100+ packed inside/outside; no hassle.
Anyway, Le Moon - totally crap service - probably overtaking Chow as my all time "do we really have to go there, isn't there somewhere else?" list whenever friends raise it as an option.
