Big fight at backpacker guesthouse last weekend

Just heard from my staff that there was a big fight at a backpacker hostel ( not gonna mention the name of the hostel ).
Apparently there was a party and a tipsy khmer wanted to play pool, he asked one of the western guys if he could play pool, then they said he could play after they finished, then they had some argue and the khmer smashed his glass on the table, then one of the barang ( i heard he was USA-khmer ) hit the guy on his face. And a group of barangs kicked him out of the restaurant. 20 minutes later there where more then 11 cars all with state license plates and all range-rover etc. also policeman on Honda nighthawks and they closed the street. About 20 khmer with gun entered the place together with the guy that was hit they were looking for the guy who hit him, but he wasn't there. Then they started hitting all the barang guys including the guys that kicked him out earlier. They also smashed the whole restaurant, all the computers and bottles.
Apparently the owner has video security camera but is not gonna publice it because he would of course never win it and they will find a way to close his business i guess.

Lucky they didnt find the guy that hit him, could have been very tragic for him.
Hope i will never experience this in my guesthouse, i already having a hard time being nice to the drunk son of my landlord.

As an hotel owner myself could imagine this would be very sad for the owner and think it would be better not posting the name on a public forum.

The owner whose entire hotel is trashed? Need a pretty big cloak to cover that.

Even I have to call this an absolutely shit story full of promise, yet containing only, well, bullshit ........ no details, even though, they'll all come out over the next couple of days .......... what a waste of time.
