My poorly old Vespa is currently gathering cobwebs in a garage in the middle of town (and has been for about 2 years) and I need to get it to the Vespa doctor.
I've tried getting it into a tuk tuk but it's just too bulky and won't quite fit. At the same time, hiring a large flatbed truck seems like overkill.
So chaps, any ideas? Thanks in advance.....

Put in on a cyclo, that's what I had to do a couple of times in the past and it nearly kills the guy so double the fun.
Bollocks to it all.

You can get those small blue trucks (used during the elections, not sure if that's what you meant by "flatbed". Flabeds are 18-wheelers in my mind) or better yet, hiring one of those small construction trailers (used to haul sand, bricks, etc) costs only 5$. Might want to either stack stuff to make a ramp or better yet, get a bunch of people to help you lift it up onto it. Can Vespas be laid down or will the side plastic break? Meaning does it need to be strapped standing or can it be left leaning on its side?

That won't work. Some fucking klutz in the garage tried dragging it around while the steering lock was on. Result = broken steering column. Why oh why can't Khmers just stay the absolute fuck away from expensive things that don't belong to them?

Guess you will have to put it on a flatbed then. Unless the garage will come and collect it, then it becomes their problem.

I was just sitting in Frescos (FCC) and noticed what appeared to be a Vespa on the back of a moto! If this wasn't yours, there is your answer and no doubt cheap.

Strap it across your back and carry it ya weak bastard. I don't know how the young kids of today survive without their IPods and other accessories. I remember when I was young - it was only called a cut if you gushed more than 2 pints of blood ! Nowday's if you get a splinter it a face book posting and an ambulance to the emergency ward. And why are you driving that Italian piece of crap in the first place??? It only has one forward gear and 16 reverse one's. I hope that Maggie "T" haunts you in your dreams. Pussy !
Enjoy life cos you only get one chance at it.
