What has happened to Martinis? Havent heard it mentioned for a awhile. Went there once months ago it was full of Russians.Must have gone upmarket, not one western expat in sight.
Maybe they changed the music too.

Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?
What is there to mention?
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?
Not sure Cambod but they sure mentioned you a lot last time I was there. You must have made an impression
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?
Cambod is a very popular name.
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?Do people even go to Sharkies anymore? Last time I went (a few months ago, been there once in the past 2 years) the crowd was comprised of 65% western females (of which 57% were expats, the remainder tourists) and 35% middle-aged musicians. No more grizzled old prowlers which made the place an interesting people-watching venue. Oh, and onion rings are no longer on the menu so I've got no reason to go there anymore. Forgot to check if they still had the fish tacos though... Hmmmmm. Anyone?

Re: Is live music killing Sharkies? That is right a very popular name. They said their Cambod was a tall, handsome gentleman and um well equipped. Obviously mistaken identity. What confirmed it was when, they said their Cambod left a big tip. Knew then immediately it couldnt be our Cambod.
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?
No, no! I take it back! It was me! I'm sure! Nice one.
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?I had the fish tacos just a couple of weeks ago so I am sure they are still available today
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?last time I went here some 60 year old rockers played cover songs and a few weirdos danced in front of them and then after their set the singer kept yelling "WOODSTOCK LIVES" over and over
I don't think I'll go back
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?Stick to Justin Bieber, K-Pop and Pontoon, wanker. As for the other dork, if your idea of social company is Pattaya trash and other assorted braindead sexpats, Walkabout and Martini are still on offer.
Sharky has moved in the right direction and if it wasn't commercially viable, they would have gone back to basics.
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?
Well said. Dictated to a slave and sent by carrier pigeon.
Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?I heard they are making a mint nowadays out of the geriatric punker crowd. Well good luck to them I say.

Re: Is live music killing Sharkies?Always have fun there, love the booming music scene, and freelancers still around...not like before but he'll, other venues for that.
