Little Johnny's mother gets called to school:
Mrs. Smith, we caught little Johnny playing doctor today with Margaret Ramsbottom.
But he's young, and curious, it's just natural.
Mrs. Smith, he was trying to remove her liver with a Swiss army knife!

My ex(bar)gf got a yeast infection one time, she had no idea what it was. I said go and buy such and such for it. She just about had a bitch fit and said no she had to go to the hospital because:vladimir wrote:Reminds me of my landlord near Wat Phnom. Got his arm in a stainless steel watertank on the roof, and there's a hell of an electrical storm coming and I yelled at him to get down. He just laughed, and said, Çambodia storm no problem like that'. He's still alive.incountry wrote:His answer was : "Oh gonorrhea very strong in Cambodia.
But, I digress. Yes you are being ripped off. But be thankful something else isn't being ripped off. He's probably injecting you with saline.
"You no understan, this cambodia, cambodia girl different from western girl!"
Now I'm not a doctor but my ex's in the 'ole us have had to deal with it plenty of times. And I know what should be done. She was framing out thinking she had HIV or something...
I could go on and on about her and others telling me the basic human physiology is completely different in Cambodia. Rofl. It makes for funny conversation at least.
At least it see the bottle he is using, is it really what he says? And does he break the seal in front of you. Someone like me/us who live in places like these I'm concerned when I doctor just start throwing the kitchen sink into antibiotics treatments. Can/will/does create drug resistant strains and makes you unresponsive to those medications if overly used. Best bet simple treatments first and if its not resolved yet then escalate the drugs.
I also recommend Dr Galvin Scott, he's great and always use him.
I'm the coolest guy I know.... shit I think I need some new friends!
window period for HIV testing is 3 months. seroconversion can happen between 6 weeks and 12 months. you are not out of the woods yet bro.
Seroconversion 12 months? Sorry, but this is rubbish. Modern HIV tests pick up infection within 28 days. He IS out of the woods if it has been 6 weeks.
Ha! What makes you think they used a "modern" test here in Cambodia?crackers wrote:.. Modern HIV tests pick up infection within 28 days. He IS out of the woods if it has been 6 weeks.
I think they generally consider 3 months to be conclusive.
Again, I assumed he was being sarcastic when he said, "THANK FUCK FOR THAT!"
Very unusual for STD symptoms to show after 6 weeks. Nor clinically impossible but massively unlikely.
Very unusual for STD symptoms to show after 6 weeks......
of course, if it is one of the THREE MOST COMMON std's, no symptoms,
or delayed onset of symptoms, would be the norm.

oh, and for two out of three of those std's.......antibiotic is not the cure.

HIV. Likely to produce the worst flu of your life after 2-4 weeks, but can be asymptomatic. HSV. Usually within two weeks. Gonorrhea 2-3 weeks. These are the facts. Source? GP. Cambridge educated. Stay safe.
He said "2 of the top 3." That's total bullshit. I guess he should tell us the "3 most common" STDs he's alluding to....crackers wrote:HIV.
