I think he was on Facebook under the name Ben Heys (bpheys tag over there).
Tragic, at 32 year-old. May he R.i.P.

I saw it on facebook. Anyone who speeds on a moto on Eckareach at 9.45 on a Saturday night must have a death wish.
Speeding on a motorcycle in a built up area is asking for trouble.

these motos are too dangerous for the cambodian roads and for the cambodian traffic, they should be made illegal until the situation improves, if ever.Joon wrote:Tragic, at 32 year-old. May he R.i.P.

You have no idea what you are talking about, sorry, but true.Scavenger wrote:any moto above 125ccMekongMouse wrote:Which motos? This particular brand?
Most motorcycle deaths in Cambodia involve motorcycles with a capacity of 110CC or less, take a look around you, what are most people riding?
It's not about the machine, in most cases it's about the person riding it, but in Cambodia it's also about idiots coming at you from every possible and impossible angle.
ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.
he would be still alive if riding a 50cc Daelim, for the simple reason he would have been forced to drive slow.vladimir wrote:You have no idea what you are talking about, sorry, but true.Scavenger wrote:any moto above 125ccMekongMouse wrote:Which motos? This particular brand?

a Ducati can reach 100km/h in a few seconds, and that's what killed him probably.
look, i see at least 2-3 moto accidents per week from my balcony and yes 99% of the cases it's 50 or 110 or 125cc scooters involved, but they never die since the speed is maybe 30-40km/h.
problem is, the khmer are just not fit to hit the road, either we drive accordingly or we're asking for trouble, i've risked my neck my too and i never drive faster than 50km/h here in PP especially by night when it's full of drunks on wheels.
we don't know what happened with this guy in snooky but he died from the impact it's obvious HE was going too fast, not the tuktuk.
Accident happened on 333 street , one of the roughest roads in Skv .
Witnesses say he was traveling at high speed , lost control and landed
60 meters away from the bike . Died later in hospital . Bike was a Ducati ,

This area is becoming quite notorious for claiming lives lately , many not being reported .
