[quote="violet"]I admit that since batty posted vids of aurora, i have loved her absolute quirkiness. Here is the singer covering Massive Attack's Teardrop...I am a longstanding fan of Massive Attack. be/
That was a pretty amazing cover. I thought it was Yolandi from Die Antwoord from the Youtube pic.
What tunes are you listening to tonight?

I'm not sure if this is Playboy of another, but he seems familiar.
Tick Tock.

Came across this 70's song that I hadn't heard in decades. Really nice melody and chorus. It was all over the radio back then. I never noticed before how pervy and rapey the plot of the song seems. It might have seemed innocent and breezy in 1975 in the post-hippy days, but fast forward to 2017 and it comes across a little creepy. It must have inspired a hundred budding serial killers to buy vans and hit the road looking for young hitchhiker girls to abduct. And it has the most fantastically absurd line of all time:
"I gave a girl a ride in my wagon
She crawled in and took control
She was tired as her mind was a-draggin'
I said get some sleep and dream of rock'n'roll"
"I gave a girl a ride in my wagon
She crawled in and took control
She was tired as her mind was a-draggin'
I said get some sleep and dream of rock'n'roll"
"The final straw actually involved my mortal enemy vladimir, who you may or may not know is an insufferable, overposting asshat."
RIP Walter Becker
