Where to buy "VEGAN PROTEIN POWDER" in Phnom Penh ?
Hi Guys, i am looking for "Vegan protein powder", which is for workout (gym). Does anyone knows which protein shop or nutrient shop in phnom penh has sell this kind of protein powder? Thanks
If you find some, let me know - I've been looking for 3 years.
No powder yet, but I did find Soymilk, 250ml, 9g protein. At the market in Aeon Mall. Brand is V-soy, no sugar added. Comes in 6-packs. Good taste.
Soy is an absolute muscle killer- avoid like the plague. Pea protein is probably the best I can think of without heading down the Google rabbit hole- no idea where to source it here. Have a word with Fredrik at the Nutrition Depot opposite the Place gym. Big Swedish guy, what he doesn't know about protein in this town is probably not worth knowing & if demand there maybe he'd import some?

Others differ with you about that. https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson71.htm
I thought part of being vegan was to show how wrong everybody else is. Go on, grow from lettuce and beans.
Let's stay on topic, though. Did you try the Russian market and other dumbass places where people do their shopping? Maybe they sell beansprouts there.
Bless

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

The old "other scientists argue" conundrum - I'll admit it is hard to get to the bottom of who is right & who is wrong on this onergrowden wrote:Others differ with you about that. https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/drobson71.htm
I'm sticking with my belief that soy is simply not good for muscle development based on casual observation of heavy soy/tofu consuming Asians, whose guys' muscles resemble those of a small teenage girl from Newcastle-upon-Tyne - and I'm probably being unfair to some Geordie lasses with that comparison! But for every hundred pansies, there is also a Hwang Chul Soon, so who honestly knows.
Anyway, back on point - seriously have a chat with Fredrik, if he doesn't know in this town, nobody knows.

Oh crap, I thought someone had a use for vegans, but no...
Came across some vegetarian protein today at Bayon Market while looking for other stuff. Not sure if it's vegan or not
That's it! Thanks so much - I'm heading there on shopping day!
