That's so fucking stupid I don't know where to begin. If you lose more than one passport you are unlikely to get another full one. Good luck traveling on a one year passport.Albro wrote:Can you get a new 12month with every new passport you get?
Passports are very cheap for us (at least in sweden) and adding the cost for a passport each year would not be that much of a big deal.
This is just an idea i give you guys. In sweden you can only get 3 every 5 year now after somalis constantly "lost" their passports (they sold them) and had new ones made all the time. But depending on where you come from maybe its worth a though?
1 Year Cambodia Visa (2017~2018)- anything new?

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Just renewed an EB EOS for 12 months. Just had to supply a letter of employment.

How much does it cost to legally register and form a company in Cambodia?
If YOU form your own company, YOU can invite you, for visa purposes.
That was (maybe still is??) one way to a business visa in "Asia's biggest country".

I've read on here it's a lot of hassle and cost $$$$. Plus you may be liable for tax.xtreme wrote:How much does it cost to legally register and form a company in Cambodia?

Best to just overstay and become a meth head/teacher. (or both)

Did any freelance worker got the 1-year extension since the change in regulation?
I just arrived in PP and applied right away for the E visa extension of 1-year. As I've been here for 2 weeks now, I don't have a Cambodian employer here (actually wasn't really my plan): I'm working for some French companies and have a certification letter from one of my employers in France.
Several travel agencies refused to take my application for visa, saying that such a letter has to be written by a company registered in Cambodia, and that it wouldn't work then. But I do work for foreign companies.
The last travel agency which agreed to give it a shot with my "French letter", just called me this morning to tell me it wouldn't be enough. And it was supposed to be one of the agencies doing it with no question.
Is there here any newcomer freelancer who actually managed to tackle with this? Or people for whom the situation could evolve that way? Any idea of how I can apply as a freelance? I do need a E visa to do my work officially...
Thank you!

Damn, I sincerely hope not.
What's the exchange rate for yanks/bogans, maybe we can make them an offer?
Was thinking 10 x ricecakes may be worth a yank we want to keep...if we can negotiate an amazing rate

Unfortunately for you they are now asking people to fulfil a basic test of being able to throw a leg over a moto.
You're fucked.

Look like this link could help,

The brain has two side, the left got nothing right and the right got noting left.
The link is good, with info about student & retirement visas.
Retirement/Student Visas
Meanwhile, the Immigration Department has revealed two new types of visa – retirement visas (ER) and student visas (ES). The prices for these visas will match those for the EB visas, ie. $160 for six months and $290 for one year.
While the ES visa requires an official letter from the student’s educational institute confirming their enrolment, the ER requires absolutely no documentation from the retiree. However, if immigration officials catch an ER holder working in Cambodia, considerable fines and potentially jail time and deportation are to be imposed.
Non-working spouses can also apply for EB visas, but must provide a letter from the company employing their partner confirming their status in Cambodia in their visa application.
It is advised to foreign workers in Cambodia to keep a copy of their work permit/employment card on their person at all times.
