Looking for someplace where I can get decent espresso drinks and maybe western breakfast at 530am.

Preferably between BKK1 and Riverside, but I'm flexible to go a lot of places as I'm out running at that time.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:In what area?TheGraw wrote:Looking for someplace where I can get decent espresso drinks and maybe western breakfast at 530am.

Khema advertises a "free flow" breakfast for about $11. It's not a buffet, you just order as much as you can scarf down off the menu, I think. You'd have to eat three a la carte breakfasts to make it worthwhile.

khema does a cracking breakfast. Drink 2 coffees and thats at least 5 dollars, add an orange juice for $2 and then you only have $4 of food to eat to break even.gavinmac wrote:Khema advertises a "free flow" breakfast for about $11. I’ve probably eaten $30 worth of breakfast there during the free flow. It does start to get embarrassing after a while though.
It’s well worth the money though.
Indeed. Add eggs benedict like in the pic posted above and a croissant or pain au chocolat, some of their delicious bread with french jam etc; muesli with yoghurt and fresh fruit and it's easy to top $20-25 worth. What I like even more is that they offer it until 11 am, it used to be 10am at the other location.
What's the service like? Is it included on the bill?logos wrote:Indeed. I remember eating a full French style buffet breakfast at the Sofitel on the Nile in Cairo for .50p.
Cool...eaten there before, but didn't realize they open at 6am. Great food!!

Yes, exactly. I'll start with a fresh juice and a pot of tea (nice tea, not the free Chinese tea), order a main dish (maybe an eggs Florentine or something), then a plate of fruit of fruit for dessert, and a coffee at the end, with an added juice at some point. It's a great deal, and doesn't even have to be too filling.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:khema does a cracking breakfast. If you order a main dish as part of the free flow do they make you finish it before you can order another one?

The 'main' dishes are small enough to finish 2 or 3 of them easily

So does this mean that if I go there for breakfast, you lot are going to be there?
Okay, Eric Kayser instead.
