I see that VAT is 10% on top of import duty of 35% for electronic goods. Foodstuff rate? Dietary supplement rate?
Are there shipping agents in USA, with correspondents in Cambodia, who arrange transportation, customs clearance and local delivery?
What means do expat residents commonly use to obtain foreign goodies? Shipping companies, air freight like DHL, international post? Thanks.

CamboQuick was good the few times I used them. $6/lb is a little pricey for shipping, imho. There used to be amazon168.com, but they seem to have changed to http://www.fado168.com. I've never used them, and I don't know anyone who has. Please post your experiences!
I am sooooo very sorry if you can't understand or appreciate my sarcastic facetiousness.
I have stuff shipped from the US using UPS. I have a shipment of stuff being sent this week; I'll post the details when I get the invoice. I've used DHL, but UPS can actually find my address, so I go with them. Expensive.
Amazon will now ship direct to Cambodia for many items. I bought that way last year; they ship via DHL. They add ridiculous vat/border charges, but a week after getting the shipment, I received a rebate on most of them. It seems DHL estimates the charges, and aims high. Then they refund the difference. Seems like a poor way to do things. I instead now have Amazon send to my sister in the US, and she ships to me. Actually costs less, in my experience.

I do not have relatives in Murica but I use a mail forwarding service (MyUs). Works well.rgrowden wrote:Amazon will now ship direct to Cambodia for many items.
