super performance from the socceroos defensively..bit unlucky with the goals but lots of positives and if they show that sort of effort in the next 2 games they're a real chance..
french surprised that they sat back as much..they'll need to improve heaps..

All the games today are interesting matchups. Good fun to watch the camera shots of the masses back at home hanging on every second. The images from the Iceland crowds are so cool.
edit...and Iceland gets the upset draw against Argentina after a well played Messi penalty kick save. Nice story for Iceland.
Overall, I'm cheering for Iceland and Iran. Bored of Germany, Brazil, etc. in the finals tournament after tournament. Let's get a true underdog to shock the world. There hasn't been this much Viking Clap going around Europe since the 12th Century

Is there anywhere easy to stream the games from in Cambodia? How do the sports bars do it?
Don't have cable TV and don't want to connect again. Would even pay if the price is reasonable.

Argentina is not going to go anywhere if they continue to play the whole game focused on Messi (leaving Dybala on the bench), a poor defense and a shaky goalkeeper.
France played poorly and the handball by Umtiti was amateur hour.

Tried to get BBC through NordVPN for France game last night and it wouldn’t let me watch it.
Spent too long dicking around before I got pissed off and left it. The normal streaming sites I use were falling over also.
Brazil v Switzerland, I need ur advice. Im shocked Brazil at $1.40 to win. Swiss at $7.50 . to win.
Surely Brazil will win easily No? Money for Jam . Just banged a lazy thousand on that ..sorry offtopic.

Try : teatimetv.to
If it’s on in the UK you’ll find matches there. Works best on an iPad or phone

It's the World Cup, the ball is round and anything can happen. Here are some of the most surprising upsets in World Cups:Jep wrote:Brazil v Switzerland, I need ur advice. Im shocked Brazil at $1.40 to win. Swiss at $7.50 . to win.

Alternatively, spend the night in a bar watching it and drinking beer (and stealing my smokes)starkmonster wrote:Is there anywhere easy to stream the games from in Cambodia? How do the sports bars do it?

"We, the sons of John Company, have arrived"
One thing is clear, most country's national anthems are god-awful dirges and tedious to hear before sporting events. Even the players seem to struggle to sing along. And enough of the "holding hands with children while walking onto the field" thing. That's just creepy.

Totally agree, creepy as hell. The Germans are all singing the anthem now after getting a lot of shit for not even trying to mouth it 3-4 World Cups ago.McPhisto wrote:One thing is clear, most country's national anthems are god-awful dirges and tedious to hear before sporting events. I hope you win, Jep, but there is always that doubt. I wouldn't touch those odds, personally, but good luck!
