Tailor for alterations
I was gifted a few shirts that are a size too big and would like to bring them to a tailor to get them fixed. I'm guessing most of the shops that make clothes wouldn't want to deal with this. Any suggestions?
Fixed that for you Migs.Miguelito wrote:I was gifted a few skirts that are a size too big and would like to biing them to a tailor to get them fixed. I'm guessing most of the shops that make clothes wouldn't want to deal with me. Any suggestions?

Same as suit tailoring suggestion thread I think - Europe Mode Tailor on Russian Boulevard is where I get mine done, never had shirts made here, but he does those also & I'd assume to the same quality.

That would have been a funny autocorrect/typo if I had made it first time around.
My point is I don't want anything made... just altered. Would that do that there?Spigzy wrote:Same as suit tailoring suggestion thread I think - Europe Mode Tailor on Russian Boulevard is where I get mine done, never had shirts made here, but he does those also & I'd assume to the same quality.

I would imagine any of the tailors here would do so, especially if it is one that you have used before

Tailor to Migs,
( Tailor ) Sir, how much bling would you like me to add to the shirt.
( Migs ) Just enough to make me stand out in a crowd. ( Insert image here ! )
Please feel free to insert Bling Image, because I've not mastered that part of the internet as yet.

I refuse to go out with nothing more than a whimper followed by a small farting sound and a shit stain on my bed sheets..
Just thought I'd share that with you.

Just had a thought. Instead of K440 t-shirts, we might have more success asking Miggles to get some 440 bling like that (namaste?) symbol worn on the chain in that photo. Perhaps it could be made from Cambodia beer ring pulls and gold plated.Playboy wrote:- Solid Gold Shirt ($25,000)scoffer wrote:Tailor to Migs,

440 on a chain. Who wouldn't want that?

If not from a chain, then 440 hanging from a rope.violet wrote:Just had a thought. You might try walking into any large Khmer market, or even orussei, top floor. That will be a new experience to you and you find rows of qualified taylors able to fix that for you for a few dollars.
Failing that I have a good address for you, a private taylor that did suits bestowed to me a couple years ago. But no English spoken.
