This is the MoYES official Grade 6 English book taught in schools across the land. I can spot 4 mistakes. Can you?

Does the clock on the wall in the picture count as one? :eyes:

Seriously, that's pretty bad. I'd be super confused as a student, and I wonder how a teach could try to explain that.

She has a bath before she gets up.

Also, I think ACE had the contract to write the English textbooks/curriculum...

Nita is a Hebrew name (or Indian), not commonly found in English speaking countries, and she doesn't look Jewish or Indian in the picture.

Student's Book is wrong. Possessives vs. Attributive Nouns.

Edited to add - the example answer is wrong. She has breakfast at 6 am according to the clock not 6.30.

3, 4

There's still a number 5 (not including my bad joke about her name).

She obviously ditches the last 15 minutes of Science class to go out for a quick smoke break before starting her Math class.

I know it’s maybe not technically wrong but ‘quarter to’ in stead of ‘a quarter to’ sounds clumsy and unnatural.

Would you rather that they used ‘Math’?
I used ‘Maths’ all the way through my school career - the subject was never called Mathematics.
