The main advantage to buy it from the west is to know what you are getting.
Every car here has the mileage either wiped or rolled back.
So you might save 12% of the total car cost but also might end up getting a former salvage titled car that was rolled back from 250k miles to 80k.
Imho the best buys are cars with hail damage. As they usually work very well but in the west the time consuming repair process is extremely expensive, often the insurance will just auction off the car rather than paying for the repair which could be several grands. Instead here paying a guy to spend 20 hours to eliminate the bumps costs peanuts.
