Would a true expat 1.0 ever need a map? A strong intuition, a large hunting knife, and perhaps a compass, is probably all he would really need to get by.

^^ Twat.
I used to get lost trying to find The Walkabout for the first year after it opened. However, the other places I found while trying to find it often made up for it.

All this talk of google maps, why not GPS? It has been in use since 1995. Am I still going to be 2.0 if my first trip to SEA was 1968? True, I didn't retire to Asia till 2011 but who is counting?

That is something we can agree on. I think 1.0's are not the whiners of the world. If they were, they would have been gone a long time ago. Life is to be enjoyed, not bitched about so much.

Big sloppy kiss at the end of the night at "Sophies" after an all day bender. Wow, how things have changed.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sat Apr 06, 2019 1:02 am
Apparently, going by their site, 1996. I remember a few people pointing out this "Sophies" place way back, it was on a balcony near Psah Thmey if I remember correctly. I never understood the appeal, it sounded gross. Whatever is done in private between adults is one thing but getting a blow job under the bar while chatting to your mates is not my kind of thing. Especially when you figure it's the 50th cock that day.
I'm in Bangkok right now. Is it just me or has the place grown into....incredibly boring?

What was the name of that other infamous place, shophouse bar with an L shaped bar on the left and a private room on the mezzanine overlooking the bar, they also had at least one room at the back.
None but ourselves can free our mind.
51st cock then.
pew, pew, pew, pew!
