Love scam victim. Hmmmm. I must try excuse that next time I'm caught smuggling a kilo of Class A narcotics across international frontiers.
She was old enough (41) to have known better, I hope Charlene Savarino can get a pardon, she was 19 when she got involved with sketchy foreigners and she's still inside.

Agree to transport the luggage of a Nigerian across borderes. Maybe not the best of decisions.
Re: After Six years in a Cambodian prison, she's back in Australia
This is the same bint the Aust. feds informed their Cambodian counterparts of her felonious activity and she herself even volunteered that she'd successfully made a previous run.
That was very fucking stupid of her, she must be quite thick, even for a Boganette. But I am glad for her that she is out of prison, most of all that shithole that is Pray Sar.

Prey Sar is just the area the prisons CC1 (Correction Center) and CC2 are in, CC2 is a women's prison.

Thanks, I thought that it was something like that.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2019 1:25 pmPrey Sar is just the area the prisons CC1 (Correction Center) and CC2 are in, CC2 is a women's prison.
I had a barang girl work for me a while back, her wife got signed up on a short project for some NGO to check on the condition of the women's prison and the prisoners there.

The sentences the courts handout in Cambodia have no consistency. The paedophile Clive Robert Cresley was given a measly few years for abusing young girls. Meanwhile a tuk-tuk driver( some of you might know from Russian market) who missing all of his digits from his hands and feet, who connected the dots between a punter and a 20-something prostitute was given 15 years. Both were convicted for people trafficking.
This woman is seriously lucky.they are handing out life sentences for 100 g of ice.

Re: After Six years in a Cambodian prison, she's back in Australia
It does seem that sentences for drugs(or even generally) are increasing in Asia and decreasing in the west. And what fucked up justice system does not give the defendant a fair trial anyway? though not referring specifically to her case but others in the past where the trials seemed very one sided e.g. no representation; lack of proof, false witness etc..
Re the women's prison, are conditions as poor as reported in the men's? It seems the overcrowding in the prisons is not because of increased crime or more efficient policing(bless 'em) but because of the pedestrian pace of the court system clogging the process.
@ Fred, bumped in to Cookie at all?

How much does a 100 grams of ice run? Just wondering what a lifetime is worth.Fred Edwards wrote: ↑Sat May 11, 2019 7:34 pmThe sentences the courts handout in Cambodia have no consistency. She didn't do the 23 years because the Judge or whoever now believes she was a victim, wrongly convicted and jailed. No surprise if an astute lawyer acting for her could win a compensation claim from the Aust. govt.spitthedog wrote: ↑Sun May 12, 2019 8:33 amWell, must be nice to arrive in Australia and be free , having already done the time.
My flabber is ghasted when I consider a country's authorities gave details that saw their fellow Australian sentenced to 23 years in an Asian prison; they did this with the Bali 9 as well, evil cunts.
