He was kind of obsessed about displaying his income, I vaguely remember some comment about a TEFLer gazing through the window at his food in as restaurant lovingly. And ironically, he was basically a TEFler, like many of us.
He was smart and could be very witty, I'll give him that.
Much prefer the current owner and even the previous one, to him, tbh.

He was, but unlike many here he had quite a bit in the bank. Partly from selling a home he owned in London and maybe some inheritance. He did often often display a condescending attitude though and I'm not sure how much good that did him in the end.

“Haha cool. There’s a fly in my beer lol. Fuck me, cunt. 50c beer plus free fly. Oi Dave ya cunt look at this fly. Haha. Do you think we can revive it? Haha. Fucking love this shitty place, and I love you Dave...Dave? Oh he’s dead. Haha. Fucking hilarious. Dave died at the bar. That’s how he’d have wanted to go - drinking beer with other bar flys. Fuck! I just made a joke about flys. Dave!, oh yeah he’s dead I forgot.
Oh shit look, the flys alive! I fucking love this place.
RIP Dave.
Bar tender. Another beer for me! I ain’t paying for Daves fucking tab. Cunt”

Consider the attitude he later expressed towards 'low-lifes' and 'spongers'. The psychology is obvious.

Ha ha, that was actually a turn on for me in the beginning, not only from him, but from many others on here, now and then. Perhaps he just picked up on the general vibe? But true, he was a merciless mod. And he was proud of his heritage as well.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 1:36 amHe did often often display a condescending attitude though and I'm not sure how much good that did him in the end.
So who got all the money, his new Chinese 'family'?

Just to clear, in the rant he totally put shit on Australia, not Cambodia, as in 'everything is broken here but I luv it' compared to Australia. The usual wife left took house/kids/property/gov ripped me off/worked 50 years/lawyers are cunts etc. He was enjoying his end days here.aem wrote: ↑Thu May 09, 2019 2:53 pmOn point except for the "luv it" part. I find that many of these guys are full of negativity and do not miss the opportunity to totally shit on Cambodians and the country they live in. They should get the fuck out then. I like 50cent/1 dollar beers but I am so sick of listening to these whiny shitstains and they are really fucking hard to avoid (no. spending my nights at Brown is not an option),
Never mind.
