ABA told me their fees were 0.15% for incoming transfers. That would be $150 on $10 large.
Surely that’s over priced. What banks do people use and what are the fees?

in the process of fucking off to the land of honey and free beer
Upon further investigation, it looks to be .1%, not .15%
And you’re not wrong, that would only be $10, not my fucked up math.

This is the incoming international wire situation currently:
- Hong Leong and BIDC: FREE (BIDC is a promotion that's set to expire in July)
- Sacombank: 0.02%
- CIMB: 0.05%
- PPCB and Canadia: 0.07% (PPCB used to be free but changed its mind, Canadia discounts to 0.05% for wires over $100K).
Just take care to transfer in your home countries' currency (unless a worthless one). That makes the Cambodian bank do the currency exchange into USD, which is significantly cheaper, then let your home country do that exchange.
Also, the transfer goes direct to Cambodia, instead of mandatory through a USA bank, to allow Uncle Trump register the transaction (after the Yanks got their lusty fingers shopped and thrown out, while grabbing in the Swift systems after items not their business).

I had an issue transferring into ABA, and they did absolutely fuck all to help me sort it out. The funds were being rejected and they just told me it wasn’t their problem.
So I transferred to my Public Bank instead and got it no problem.
