I'm amazed how many people are willing to accept the suspect's account at face value. Sure, she just has a bit of a temper problem, she would never tell lies or anything.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Shame Stokeley's gag about the Mexican chef spilling the beans was removed.
Anyway here's one to which everyone must know the punchline:
Why did the Mexican chef beat her friend on the neck with a stick?
Yep, Tequila.

I agree, she's a textbook sociopath, so we shouldn't take anything she says at face value. But that said, the body of evidence presented by the police against her so far seems overwhelming and so far no evidence whatsoever has been presented that implicates anyone else. Only speculation.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 11:39 amI'm amazed how many people are willing to accept the suspect's account at face value. My opinion is that speculation in a high profile case like this, here in Cambodia is very irresponsible. You don't need fire in Cambodia for a conviction, especially is a high profile case, just a bit of smoke is enough to get someone locked up in an absolute hellhole for a sentence that might as well be a death sentence. And what I see here is people making smoke.

There doesn't appear to be any marks on her (the perp)e.g. scratches or bruises, like on CSI, nor any cuts from her performing butchery 101 on the poor woman.

Usually 440 posters are highly critical of the Khmer police when it comes to their laziness, ineptness and incompetence. They rail against the police when they fail to get evidence to bang up paedos, or fail to clear up murders.
It’s good to see everyone agreeing that they have now done an excellent job investigating all aspects of this incident, leaving no stone unturned in their quest for the full picture, when it comes to exonerating one of us. I’m sure we are all united in our confidence that the police here are the pride of the country.

Years ago there was a case of an entire beheaded family found in a car on the bottom of the lake. The official conclusion of the investigation was that the father had chopped everyone's head off including his own and put it in the trunk of the car before driving the car into the water.
There was just as much reason to believe that the story was not true as in this case. One does not behead and dismember someone in a family home where 5 people live without anybody noticing, especially when one of the five, other than the confessed murderer, is caught on camera driving off with the victim's motorbike.
You have surrendered your rational thinking because a close friend of yours is involved. If it was anybody else you'd think differently because there's too many inconsistencies in the perp's story for it to be true.
At the very least somebody other than the woman knew something.

What are you talking about? It's not unusual in the west to be arrested, charged and in court within a day or so, only to be remanded in custody awaiting the commencement of the full trial. It's exactly what's happened to her.Jack Frost wrote: ↑Fri Jun 14, 2019 5:06 pmWow swift justice no half portions here!
