I forgot to mention. The city as a whole felt like a small Malaysian town, but with a Singapore vibe of cleanliness or order. It is a very small city, only like 50,000 people or something. Very clean, very little traffic.
Maybe it’s my phone but in all those pictures I can’t see a single person, apart from some spiffing white tennis shoes which I assume belong to you.

All those billionaire lot will be in London now flying around in their imported Lambos and koenigseggs pissing off the millionaires in Kensington and Chelsea!
The sounds really reverberates along those roads. It’s quite something.

Not many people out and about. I’m sure anyone with a little money leaves town during Ramadan (and every weekend), and those in town don’t want to walk around in the sun when they’re not allowed to drink water.

I did see this guy though. Totally straight.

Probably a good place to check out wildlife but otherwise seems pretty dull.

Have you ever met one? They tend to have nice toys and pick up the tab for dinner.

Only one.
I used to be allowed to hang with a Khashoggi scion in London.
He was nuts for cocaine and blond women, both of which I was able to facilitate his acquisition of.

Stay away from bumsex.
However I see that non-Muslims are allowed to bring in 12 beers and two bottles of booze for personal consumption in their hotel rooms.
12 beers and 2 bottles.

Gets out calculator. Hmmm, lets see.
The beers would last 3 days, (assuming they were 500ml cans), and the bottles i guess....a week.

I'd probably stay a week max, just to be on the safe side....and not have to worry about getting my ass pinched in a lift by the bum stabbers.

Do they specify the size of the bottle? 750ml, 1 Lr?

Likewise with beers...300ml/750ml?

One could bring in one bottle of high alc/volume alcohol, say 86%, disguised as vodka, and dilute it.

Black Betty, Ramadan, oh oh Black Betty

I lived there for 7 years. There are many great hash groups which occupied most of my time. You can get beer very easily from the "milk man"....it is a very quiet place but once you had a good group of friends it was fine.

The locals are very friendly and generally accepting. The stuff you hear about on the news is rarely discussed...not so much due to fear but more a social acceptance thing....I had colleagues who were very much gay but nobody would refer to them as such. The Sultan has total authority and has gradually gotten more into Islam...there is some hope that when his son takes power Brunei will become more liberal again.

Thanks for the input! After seven years, would be great if you’d be willing to share some pics.
