Le Residence, still there, still has a lot of foie gras.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Drunk Scottish Con was there at the bar and was starting to be belligerent. Anyone remember him? Anyway, we actually went back the next night for dinner again to the same bar because they liked it and Con was STILL THERE AT THE BAR 24 hours later and was in a right state.
Con is living up country in Kampong Bumfu.k somewhere, still kind of with Danni.
I ran into him sometime within the past year at LoneStar. He has been off the booze for a few years now.
One of the best binge drinkers out there in his day, and there was a lot of stiff competition!
Last time I saw him on the lash was three or more years ago. Totally relentless.

Scottish Con. The only Con I remember was Scottish but had emigrated to NZ before coming to SE Asia. Short fellow, friendly , liked the ladies and would be about 70+ now. Same Con or different?
k440, something to do when you're pissed.

Thanks to everyone for supporting my book. I spent 18 hours yesterday making some corrections to it. Just dumb stuff that gets missed---defining acronyms after they've been used a few pages previously, stuff like that.
And there were a lot of acronyms then, like there are now.
My computer also changed one spelling of "naval" to "navel." So damn annoying.
Anyway, I'm wondering if any of you have bought the book from Cambodia---I have Khmer friends who have, paying that extra shipping from Amazon. Anyone here done that? send me a pm.
Also wondering if you can easily get the e books over there.
Thanks for taking a few minutes to let me know. Appreciate it.
I'm attaching the first ever Visitors Guide to Sihanoukville. Yes, I took the photo. I did most of the photos for our guides. This one was at press in July 1997, which makes it all the more interesting.

Thank you so much! I've gotten some lovely notes about it. It's a lot of work to keep moving forward! It will be published in Cambodia, which I am most happy about.
sorry if I skipped over this, but how did Johnny Flash die? Was this a drug overdose?

I've heard mixed reviews about Kindle, mostly good, I know they would be better than lugging around books but are they just as easy to read and easy to maintain/best model. Thanks for any advise, about to press the buy button.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Mon Jul 22, 2019 4:50 pmI bought the Kindle copy yesterday in Cambodia.GCramerHarman wrote: ↑Sat Jul 20, 2019 11:43 pm
