White people can't be terrorists. They're 'troubled' or they have PTSD or were abused as children.ReasonstobefearfulP3 wrote: ↑Sun Aug 04, 2019 7:23 pmHas the Texas shooter been labelled a terrorist yet?
ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.
I’m not reading all that shit.
He (the gunman) has already stated this has nothing to do with Trump and his beliefs and anger pre-date Trumps presidency.
If it wasn’t Mexicans it’d be some school kids at his school or college or work colleagues or his parents or some random people in a bar (which happened the same time). He’s just an angry messed up nut job who has easy access to automatic weapons.

How about a knife? They love them in London. I reckon you could kill a few before being tasered or Millwalled.
It’s the stupid gun laws (access and type) that are responsible.

In the Dayton shooting police neutralized the shooter in under a minute from the time he started shooting..
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis
Yeah I read that. Just lucky (unlucky for him) they were patrolling in the area I guess.
Edited. Just read he shot his own sister and her boyfriend. Another dude with mental issues.
(Gun laws in the US are really complex for non US citizen. I apologise if these info on laws is incorrect)
So Texas has a concealed carry and open carry gun laws. Many states have “constitutional” carry, which means no permit or licence needed (doubled since 2006). Basically there’s a shit load of hand guns (and probably rifles or assault weapons in vehicles. I don’t know just guessing) but how many citizens have actually engaged in shooters instead of (rightly so) running away or hiding and protecting themselves and their family?
Pretty low I guess.
How many people have been killed accidentally in the home by legally held guns including children?
How many “red mist” murders happen after a few beers because one or both carry a gun?
I’ve watched countless dashcam/body cam footage of police stops and all hell breaks loose. Both parties firing off a full clip and no one gets hit!
Utterly crazy.
(Guns are fucking cool though but in gun clubs or on private land. Keep them off the streets. Went into a gun store in Cali’. Giggled like a school kid!)

That's less than the number who get shot on an average weekend in Chicago.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Hmm. So all 25 in the Greater London area (London isn’t the “UK”). Some died others didn’t. Some not even by guns in 12 months.
The vast majority of shootings in the US go unreported because it’s so common. In the UK not so which is why you can list them, and blame one guy who happens to be mayor!
No mass shootings.
We’ve had them - Hungerford, Dunblane (fucking pre-schoolers!) etc. the last gun related was 2010. Nine years ago.
Yes we’ve had nutty Jahadis, in London and Manchester was the latest mass killings (all in 2017) but we’ve not had terrorist attacks like the US since the IRA days, who occasionally thoughtfully gave warnings in advance.

Sadiq Khan made safety in London one of his main pledges when he was running for Mayor.

He drove 9 hours to specifically kill as many hispanics as he could. It's hardly random. Yes, easy access to automatic weapons is the enabler, but a dark political outlook is the prompt.YaTingPom wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 11:53 am

It's odd that when islamic terrorists attacks happen, people focus on the driving ideology, not the weapons or access to knives and guns and vans. But when it's an attack like this - and let's be honest - they are weekly occurances now - it's never the ideology. It's just about gun control only.

London is incredibly safe, just like most European cities. Don't let sensationalist headlines about knife attacks dominate your thinking. The numbers are absolutely miniscule for a city of its size.

Great, so your point is that gun control works. Because when you compare this list vs the 292 mass shooting thus far in the U.S. this year, or the 310 people that are shot PER DAY in the U.S., or the 113,000 people shot last year in the U.S., this list of yours looks pretty damn compelling.TheGrimReaper wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:01 pmMeanwhile, back in 2018 in a country where the possession of a gun (except in very special circumstances) is illegal and in a town with Sadiq Khan as Mayor.

I don’t think it’s political. He’s just a nutter and claims of it being political make it, for him, justifiable, same as a Jihadi doing for god or some other white nutter saying his god made him do it.Dallow Spicer wrote: ↑Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:51 pmHe drove 9 hours to specifically kill as many hispanics as he could. The 9/11 dudes traveled thousands of miles. So what.
If they used automatic assault rifles it WOULD be about gun control. Instead it changed air travel security around the world and we’re still feeling it today 18 years later.
