Robert Johnson, Django Reinhardt, Les Paul, Chuck Berry.
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis

"The blues had a baby and called it Rock and Roll" - Muddy Waters.
Did you know, i said did you knooow that, Layla is actually a speeded up version of Albert King's, As the Years Go Passing By?
(Quote Clapton)
You got the Three Kings, BB, Albert and Freddie.
Into me Albert Collins aswell. He made blues quirky and mixed it up with funk, country and rock.
If you listen to the lyrics on this one you almost get the impression he was married to a local lass in the region no??

There is as yet a man who has not been named.
He was responsible for Eric Clapton, Peter Frampton, Brian May, Sting, Pete Townshend, John Lennon, Paul McCartney and many others learning to play the guitar.
Also he was King Rat.

Sleep, those little slices of death — how I loathe them.

From Lennon to Springsteen, almost everybody picked up a guitar after seeing him for the first time. They may have became better players of the instrument but it cannot be denied that he "changed the world". Even today artists who were not influenced by him directly were influenced by somebody who was.
