Affordable dentist in Phnom Penh

Postby floating » Tue Feb 02, 2010 6:46 pm

Hi,

I need to have some dental work done in the very near future, but I don't have an arm and a leg to shell out in payment.

Does any one know of any decent dentists in Phnom Penh which are also not overly expensive? Please include location/ contact info if possible.

Much appreciated....

Try a Vietnamese dentist on Sihanouk opposite Olympic stadium. There is 2 or 3 of them.
Can't remember the one I used but they did a cracking job on two root canals for about $25 each total.

That was for about 4 visits a time because they used an oral anaesthetic instead of a needle.

Good value, very hygienic and nice people to boot.

They won't beat Stains' dentist for price, but I've been to Smile behind the palace (on the corner of 19, the north end of the palace.) a few times and they were good, and not too expensive. They are Cambodian but French trained.

German Dental Service at Street 594 (012 894 679) offers western dental care to Cambodian prices. I paid USD 40 for extraction of wisdom tooth.

Hey thanks to everyone who had some input. Now I feel like I have several different options! Laudjohn, you're right I should have searched but I didn't think of that for some reason. I did however check the first 8 pages of " Q& A" going back to 2008.

I will check with the VN dentist, Smile or the German dentist! Thanks a bunch!

Hope its not as bad as in the picture! : )
