-An Australian man died while being taken to the Chomcar Chek Referral Hospital at 9:10 pm, 10th December, 2013.
-According to the statement of the victim’s (older) Khmer sister-in-law, the victim had gone to sleep alone in a room adjoining her own in a house located in Village 3, Commune 4, Sihanoukville, when she was suddenly startled by banging noises coming from the victim’s room. Immediately, she and her husband went to investigate, but found the victim’s room locked. Her husband, the older brother of the victim and an Australian national as well, then forced his way into the room by smashing through the window, where he found the victim staring goggle-eyed. An ambulance from a private clinic was called for, but the victim died en route to the hospital. The Khmer sister in law conjectured that the victim had succumbed to a heart attack.

RIP. Saved him the trouble of dying in the hospital. I wouldn't trust the Doctors down here to remove a band aid without fucking it up.

Why post a pic of his passport?? Just because the locals have the ethical standards of a Catholic Priest doesn't mean we should stoop to their level.

This DAP write up corroborates the 2nd KOH piece translated above and in fact is almost word for word identical to it. But it is worth clicking on just for the passport photo, and it does tack on the following detail not in the KOH article right at the very end:
-The body of the victim is presently being held at the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Referral Hospital while the embassy contacts the family in order to arrange for its repatriation.

Good point. The deceased might have trouble using it again if someone clones it or something.raendi wrote:Criminals can get interesting information from that page of passport ?gavinmac wrote:Are passport photos of deceased persons offensive in some way?Ira_Hayes wrote:Why post a pic of his passport?? Those who begin coercive elimination of dissent soon find themselves exterminating dissenters. Compulsory unification of opinion achieves only the unanimity of the graveyard.
