or some other fenestral occluder needed for my NE-facing kitchen windows to prevent my tripe roasting in vivo every time I go in there of a morning. Venetian blinds won't cut it and heavy curtains get too dusty in my part of town.
If anyone would commend a vendor of blinds that might block at least some (preferably most) of the light, I should be most grateful.
Thanks, in anticipation.

Thanks, I was hoping for something a little more heavy-duty than those plastic roll-down blinds (but not so heavy-duty as brick). I can't think of a material that would suit my needs perfectly, though.

Maybe you could use window tint with the venetians.....adjust the light to your requirements?SLB wrote:or some other fenestral occluder needed for my NE-facing kitchen windows to prevent my tripe roasting in vivo every time I go in there of a morning. Blackout means just that - the solid plastic rolldown blinds can stop the light if fitted properly...........just the same as bricks.....
Cheers Robbo, good suggestion. Given that I'll be fitting whatever it may be myself, one can comfortably assume it shan't be "properly".
