Capitol GH has atrocious WiFi
Sometimes a page of Khmer440 will only load half then stop.
Sometimes it is easy to get on the site but it will slow down later so to that changing pages will load endlessly.
There must be a GH in PP with better than this.

There are many guesthouses in PP better than Capitol, both in terms of wifi and nearly everything else. Head towards the river. Since you're staying at Capitol, I'd say something slightly more expensive, but a million times better, is OK Guesthouse on St 258, I believe. The wifi has always worked well for me.

Does the WiFi at OK work well in the rooms?
I have some online skype work that requires a quiet place.
So far I have not found WiFi in Cambo that works well in rooms, unless you are lucky enough to get a room near the router.

If it's that important use the 3g when the wifi is inadequate. It's not expensive...what do you expect from $10 room.Timeslot Enigmatic wrote:MekongMouse wrote: OK Guesthouse on St 258, I believe. The wifi has always worked well for me.

Plugs into USB slot on your laptop
Costs $27 from Metfone other phone companies offer similar services
Tops-up like a mobile phone
Get 2.5 GB for $5 although someone said Smart or Cellcard (can't remember which) were offering more data for cheaper price

A mate uses one and gets about 5Mb/s download on it

No self respecting cheapskate would pay $5 a month for the Internet. That's outrageous.
