WTB - Sunday Roast
Cavern is RIP.
Man needs roast.
There's already a designated breakfast thread, here's the 1 for the Sunday roast luncheons suggestions/criticisms.
Tomorrow there will be roast.
*Enjoy roasts responsibly

We've had several prior threads on this topic. Posters are a bit obsessed with breakfast and roasts:

And other posters are obsessed with hostess bars and the vagaries of waitress uniforms. We all have our foibles.

This. Rice has now got to be my least favorite of the staple starches thanks to the national obsession with the stuff. Basmati is still good with saffron, but it generally it just ain't corn or potatoes.
Plus didn't that poor bastard Pedros's just do a proper stretch in Battambang? If so, get that man some lamb, gravy and mint sauce stat!
[edit] Score's weekend roast wasn't bad if memory serves.

Interesting, i love rice but I struggle to eat potatoes these days. However, I do love the expensive bread from veggies, get through 3 loaves a week and i live alone.

veggies retail Open Wine's bread. they have 3 types: French Baguette style 12in with a crust and soft centre perfect for sandwiches and when stale "french bread pizza", a "Romaine" which is shorter and fatter than a baguette and is perfect as dunking bread for soups and stews, or as a chunk for a ploughman's like salad. Or you take my favourite which is the "farmhouse" style loaf , whole wheat crusty round loaf. 1$ the first 2$ the second, 4$ for the best.

Hahahahaha thanks, hearing "bread from veggies" I thought it was a new type of fake bread (kinda like 'protein bread' perhaps) made purely from vegetables (and carrying the same nutritional/caloric profile) while tasting/feeling exactly like bread. I'd pay top dollar for such a thing

+ a year in Kampong Speu..... followed by Chom Chao
My mate asked where's a good roast nowadays post Cavern, I said I'd ask the sages of these pages and 'see how long it takes someone to call me a cunt'.... GM took a mere couple of minutes....
Matey's saying Paddy Rice, but I've heard people calling them cunts..... or something.

Seriously, what has happened to the Cavern? It used to be fantastic, but now, I find it to be mediocre, at best.
Used to be cracking food before, but seems to have gone right downhill. Just in my pathetic opinion, of course.

I guess the reason the food at Cavern has gone downhill recently is because they haven't bern doing any food for the last two months. Just a hunch.

ירי ילדים והפצצת אזרחים דורש אומץ, כמו גם הטרדה מינית של עובדי ההוראה.

Reading this in an Estuary Accent makes the whole thing more logical.springrain wrote:Seriously, what has happened to the Cavern? It used to be fantastic, but now, I find it to be mediocre, at best.
