Khmer440 Dead Pool
Khmer440 Dead Pool
With a number of former board members popping their clogs last year, anybody interested in starting a dead pool.
To make it interesting a $5 stake with each participant being allocated 5 Members each. Selections would be allocated using a random number generator on the Members List. (deceased persons excluded)
In order to keep interest up until the end of the year the pot could be split 50/50 for first and last. ( If only 1 then the same).
In the unlikely event that no board member moves to the other side then there will be a tie breaker prediction to be determined at a later date.
Anyone up for it. ( Of course each participating punter would not be able to draw themselves)

I wouldn't go for it.
Some posters are desperate enough to tweak the odds in their favor, pouring liquid soap etc, à la Kir.

The Vietnamese pajama mafia are already running a deathpat lottery. Try to take away their business and it will be your number that comes up.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Well Denis was reported in the qualifying year and I know of one other member at least who snuffed it ..but I didn't know his username . I am sure there were a few more on the list who were members but not as high profile as KIRLucky Lucan wrote:What was that number? That sounds like pretty solid information there...104 wrote:I know of one other member at least who snuffed it ..but I didn't know his username.

What? You can't choose your own Deathpats? Where's the fun in that? Plus, we could cheer for the ones we want and encourage them to engage in risky behaviour.
You'd also have to handicap it like in Fantasy Football auction leagues. Guys based in Sihanoukville would have to have a premium put on them. But let's face it, Ken Svay would go five out of five - all he has to do is visit the victims and they're toast.
