I use Agoda for accommodation, always found it miles cheaper than the front desk and refunds easier, if needed
Nothing but an opinionated tourist. The Pope spends more time in countries than I do ! It is also not my place to comment on a gentleman's dress. A real 23 minute wonder, that obviously knows little about ovens and cooking in Cambodia.
Agoda is only cheaper for expensive hotels like $50 and up.
Also they say only 1 room left but often that's just the agoda rooms! Often the hotel will have tons of rooms left. I suggest using agoda and other sites like it as little as possible.

As for refunds easier, agoda wanted $15 refund fee which made it totally pointless last time I tried!! They also delete bad reviews sometimes. I don't trust them!

Our experience of Agoda differs then. I use it 2-3 months each year for my Asia travels. I never stay in $50+ hotels ( I am from Wigan you know) and never been charged a refund fee but I appreciate your experience may be different from minewondercul wrote:As for refunds easier, agoda wanted $15 refund fee which made it totally pointless last time I tried!! I`m from the same town as Ed and I use both Agoda and booking.com. I find that booking.com is on average a little cheaper but not all of the time. I have never had a problem with either of them.
