Can you rent motorcycles or motos in Burma? Can you buy a moto (125cc) in Burma?
If I knew for certain that a person was coming to my house with the intent of doing me good, I would run for my life HDT

and u can find rentals in other places as well,
I have rented bikes in Mandalay also at the hotel i stayed 125 ( Chinese copies of honda waves) $8/day
Note you are NOT allowed to ride a motorcycles in Yangoon, Bagan or Inle lake area an there are parts of the country closed to road travel at times

Thank you kindly Phuket. I am interested in traveling in the Shan and Karen areas. I have been in the Shan area several times about 12 years ago. At that time the military was heavily involved in most phases of life. My comfort level was a little shaky. Many of my students are Karen so have an interest in their Burma homeland.

i was just in northern Kachin state an spent some time in Shan state last july, some places open, some closed,
Karen is mostly open as no trouble there
