Seems to be Wat "Ang Qatar" and/or Wat "Ang Ta Minh" in Por Sen Chey district. I gather from the engrish that there was powder in bags (yama?) and condoms hidden in the underwear boxes. And you can see the pink girlie knickers on the table.

What kind of cops are in the black uniforms with G-R on the breast?

Dirty Habits
Nothing but an opinionated tourist. The Pope spends more time in countries than I do ! It is also not my place to comment on a gentleman's dress. A real 23 minute wonder, that obviously knows little about ovens and cooking in Cambodia.

G-R stands for gendarmerie Royale. They are not cops as they depend from the MOD.PenhMan wrote:What kind of cops are in the black uniforms with G-R on the breast?

Wasn't it the General Commanding the Gendarmerie Royale, who deployed them to protect one of the factories he owned during the riots a few years ago (New Year) ?Barang_doa_slae wrote:G-R stands for gendarmerie Royale. I like the gendarmerie royale guys they are much more honest and respectable that other police forces. Never had even a request to pay 1cent more than the basic fine when they stopped me. Also several speak English and the officers I met are pretty good companycompany too.

In Thailand i heard it's quite common for criminals to hide out for awile by becoming monks.
"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
More on the monks. They claim they have been framed because they were involved in anti-Vietnam demonstrations:
Two Khmer Krom monks were defrocked and detained on Saturday after a police search of their Por Sen Chey district pagoda uncovered women’s underwear, weapons and condoms, but allegations emerged yesterday that the pair had been set up.
District Governor Hem Darith said his officials searched Choam Chao commune’s Ang Taminh Pagoda – or Kork Chambork as it is better known – after receiving reports that 28-year-old Dav Tep and 30-year-old Chea Vanda had threatened a man staying there.
“According to the reports … both of the monks threatened to kill him by using a sword or knife, and during the inspection we found a number of prohibited items,” he said.
Items listed in the police report include a sword, a knife, a wooden stick, three mobile phones, a lottery ticket, women’s underwear, condoms and a substance police believed to be narcotics.
However, the man at the receiving end of the alleged threats, who requested anonymity, said he had been “forced by police officials to sign the complaint”.

Given the reputation of that pagoda and those monks, it could either be a set up, or they are just dodgy cunts.

The Phnom Penh Municipal Court on Monday laid charges against two former monks who were arrested in Pur Senchey district on Saturday for possession of drugs, fake documents and weapons, but the duo maintains that they were framed in retaliation for their political activism.
The court charged Dav Tep, 28, and Chea Vanda, 30, with possession of drugs and fake documents, and with making death threats, according to Muth Piseth, their lawyer.
Seems to be more charges added by the day.
